At this meeting we were provided updates around some key policy areas which relate to our inclusive and sustainable economy work and reflected on next steps for the engagement project. We also discussed the Sheffield Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy, with a focus on how we work together across partnerships to take forward the ambition areas.
11.00 am Key Policy Updates, Laurie Brennan, Head of Policy & Partnerships for Sheffield City Council

A review of the Equality Hubs Network has been recently undertaken.
11.30 am Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy, Dan Spicer, Policy & Improvement Officer, Sheffield City Council
Dan gave a short overview of the Health & Wellbeing Board and a look back to the previous Strategy. The new Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy has a single headline goal: close the gap in healthy life expectancy in Sheffield by improving the health and wellbeing of the poorest and most vulnerable the fastest.
