The meeting opened with a proposal from the Race Equality Commission Legacy Task and Finish Group for a Sheffield Race Equality Partnership.
We also heard about The Welcoming Cultures project, an initiative which aims to share, demonstrate and build collaborations around celebrating our incredible cultural diversity, and the RTransform project, which looks into tackling political mobilisations and educational systems in the UK as well as challenging inequalities by building capacity at grassroot levels.
Finally, we received an update on the progress made with the City Goals since we last met in September as well as an outline of key next steps.
