The minutes of the July meeting were agreed on Friday 23rd September and are now ready to view by clicking here:
At the July meeting we covered two main areas of focus, both of which are important issues to consider as we develop our new City Strategy.
The first, a discussion around how we market Sheffield and enhance our profile nationally and globally. We specifically discussed the recently launched Sheffield University City Campaign from Welcome to Sheffield which is a new campaign including both universities. This provided an opportunity for us to reflect on the great work already happening in the city and identify any further discussions and/or work we would like to pursue in the coming months.
The second main discussion was about our ongoing partner work on tackling poverty, and specifically our city-wide crisis response to the cost-of-living crisis. This item provided an update to partners on current activity and outlined the challenges we are facing in Sheffield.
